    Is Sunlife Pastries Halal? 

    Are your pastries suitable for vegetarians? 

    Most of our products contain dairy and eggs, hence they are suitable only for Ovo-lacto Vegetarians. 

    Do you have gluten-free pastry options? 

    Unfortunately we do not have gluten-free products at the moment

    What are the storage guidelines for your pastries?

    • Keep FROZEN - All durian related products 
    • Keep REFRIGERATED - All non-durian related products (Fruit Tarts, Eclairs, Cream Puffs, Macarons, etc)
    • ROOM TEMPERATURE - Almond Sticks, Brownies, Pineapple Tarts 

    How long can your pastries keep? 

    • FROZEN - Up to 1 week 
    • REFRIGERATED (for non-durian products) - 2 to 3 days 

    Why must durian products be kept frozen?

    We use 100% pure and fresh pureed durian flesh for all of our durian pastries, hence they're highly sensitive to temperature changes. No preservatives are added as well.

    Durian Policy:

    All durian products are highly recommended to be consumed immediately upon purchase and should not be left out in the open for more than 2 hours. All durian products should be consumed on the day of purchase. Should you wish you consume the durian desserts at a later time / next day, kindly store the products in a freezer to prevent spoilage.

    We use pure durian in our products and the fruit is sensitive to temperature changes. Sunlife Durian Puffs & Pastries ensures that the quality of all our durian products have met high production standards, and every single batch of durians are tested before being used in the baking process. Any mishandling of the product on the consumers' end will not be entertained, and we will only provide a 1-to-1 exchange on a case by case basis.

    Wouldn't frozen durian puffs be too hard?

    Simply thaw them for 5 minutes before consumption and you're ready to rock-and-roll! 

    My party starts really early & might not be in time to collect when your stores open. Can i pick-up the pastries the night before? 

    Yes, definitely! All our pastries are freshly baked-to-order on a daily basis, hence freshness is guaranteed and suitable for next-day consumption. Simply adhere to the recommended storage guidelines (as listed above). 

    What are your serving sizes? 

    For Party Packages, guidelines of "For 20-30pax" / "For 40-50pax" are listed below each listing, hence that serves as an accurate estimation. For ala carte items, kindly refer to the details listed under each product listing. 

    Do you accept customisation of your pastries?

    We try our best to do so, depending on the pastry item and feasibility of your request. Most customisations are possible based on change in flavour, toppings, fillings, and colours. However, we're unable to accept complex customisation requests involving cartoon characters or extreme modifications. 


    Can I walk-in to any of the outlets and make a purchase on the spot? 

    • Yes of course! We prepare additional batches of fresh bakes for daily sale as well! These are available as Ala Carte items for off-the-shelf purchase, and no preorder is required.
    • Simply visit any of our outlets and take your pick! Our friendly staff are also more than happy to provide recommendations.

    Why is it recommended that i place an advance order though? 

    • Some of our items such as: Pastry Packages (i.e pastries in larger quantities which are packaged in disposable catering trays), Chocolate Walnut Brownies, and Whole cakes are usually baked-to-order and are not available off the shelves.  
    • Items that are available on the shelves for walk-in purchases are also based on a first come first serve basis. By placing an order, you basically "reserve" a confirmed piece of the item(s).
    • By placing an order, you can definitely avoid disappointment in the event your item has been sold out for the day / purchased by a prior customer.

    How early should i place my orders? 

    • Minimum of 3 days in advance, before our calendar starts blacking out the date/time
    • For orders involving Party Packages / bulk quantities, we recommend orders to be placed at least 1 week in advance to avoid disappointment, especially for highly popular dates/ weekends
    • For pancake livestation service - Min 14 days advance notice required, or while slots last. For Weddings, we accept bookings up to 6 months in advance.

    Why should i place my orders early?

    Here at Sunlife Pastries, our pastries are 100% handmade with love on a daily basis. We do not employ the use of machinery to produce our items and bulk-orders are freshly baked-to-order. (NO blast freezing involved). As such, we would greatly appreciate early notice for bulk orders so as to ensure your order can be scheduled for production accordingly and be well fulfilled in time.

    I need to place an order but have missed the minimum 3 day lead time, can i still place an order? 

    Yes of course! Kindly get in touch with us (simply drop a WhatsApp Text to: +65 96462219) & let us know what are the items required and how urgently they are required. 

    We will advise on the feasibility of order fulfilment based on the quantity/ scale of the order as well as the level of urgency. For last minute requests which demands the activation of additional manpower & resources to fulfil (during peak periods/ prosperous dates/ festive season/ large scale order), a 20% late fee may apply. 

    Why is there a late fee?

    Because we would have to order additional/ specific ingredients at a much higher cost due to the short lead time given. In addition, our team would have to work doubly hard & clock in overtime in order to ensure all the preparation that is required for your order can be fulfilled on time!

    Must full payment be made to confirm a pastry order?

    Yes, all orders are confirmed only upon full payment. For all online orders, credit card payment will be requested upon checking out of cart. For manual orders placed, payment information are as listed below:

    What are your delivery charges? 

    • FREE - For orders $250 and above

    • $20 - Standard delivery into residential zones
    • $25 - Delivery with entry into CBD / Town/ Chalet locations 
    • $35 - Delivery with specific time request (eg: MUST be within 3pm to 3.30pm/ 1hr time range) or entry into heavy industrial areas (Tuas, Jurong Fishery Port, Changi Coast)

    Any there any areas not within your delivery zones?
    Sentosa Island, Jurong Island, and any other locations not within Singapore.


    • For online orders - Any cancellations (informed more than 3 working days prior to event date) are entitled to a full refund in terms of store-credits which can be used for future orders
    • For event orders - Bundles / party packages: Full payment is required as confirmation of order / booking
    • For Pancake Live-station - A 50% deposit is required upon confirmation and locking in of date + time slot. 50% Deposit will be forfeited upon client's cancellation of event / booking (regardless of notice period).
    • A 100% full payment is required for all orders / catering services if cancelled within or less than 3 working days prior to the event.
    • For unique cancellation cases - we will address based on a case-by-case basis & reserve the right to deny unreasonable requests. 

    Sunlife Durian Puffs & Pastries reserves the right to cancel an order due to any unforseen circumstances. Customers will be informed in advance via a phone call in the unfortunate event that a cancellation has to be made.
